There is enormous importance for the Certificate program on Service Management based on US experience and expertise. The main goal of the project is to create Online Certificate program that involves top ranking faculty of US university to the support high demanded education needs in service and tourism management in Uzbekistan. Launching a joint Certificate program fits our core internationalization goals. Moreover, activities will be conducted for the promotion of TSUE and it US university partner internationally.

Tashkent State University of Economics offers its resources available on campus. Rooms supplied with Multimedia, Internet and other facilities. University allocates office for administrative management of the project and program. Provides necessary facilities needed for free access to online materials. Tashkent State University of Economics offers transportation, welcome dinner, trips to Samarkand and Bukhara ancient cities, translation services where needed. We expect the involvement and assistance of the US university faculty to design and develop the Certificate program according to the needs of the Uzbekistan economy. Conduct initial joint research and discussion to successful implementation. Provide educational resources. Considering the creating courses focused on multiple groups: business, students, and government.

The project could be implemented in 4 stages.

  • Learning needs for the courses. Surveys and Interviews with Businesses and University students.
  • Selection of the courses and approval of the Certificate program. Signing agreements. December 2019.
  • Preparation of the required organizational procedures by both sides. TSUE prepare the physical location for the program management and support all the facilities for providing needed resources for the success of the Certificate program. TSUE and partner university agree on price, promotion, size, and duration of the Program. January 2020.
  • Starting courses March 2020 and awarding first graduates of the Certificate program. May 2020. The number of learners could be from 25 to 50 per certificate program.
