Virtual exchanges offer an untapped opportunity for students in U.S. and Uzbekistan to collaborate on engineering projects. The partnership between Colorado School of Mines and Navoi Mining Institute focuses on collaborative educational capabilities for engineering education. 36 students from Navoi Mining institute were selected to participate in group assignments in an Introductory Thermodynamics course.
