The World University Ranking UniRank has published a list of the best universities in Uzbekistan, which includes 87 educational institutions.
The rating is based on the popularity of the official websites of universities. The indicators of licensing and accreditation of educational institutions by the state, the citation index of scientific articles of the teaching staff and other factors are also taken into account.
The National University is recognized as the best university in Uzbekistan. However, in the world ranking, the university took only 4,122 places. The second and third places were taken by the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute Nukus Branch and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
The agency’s global ranking covers more than 13,600 universities and colleges from 200 countries.
