On February 1, 2020 American Councils for International Education organized a planning workshop for representatives of nine Uzbek higher education institutions who will launch partnership projects with U.S. partner universities as part of the Central Asia University Partnerships Program (UniCEN).
In an address to administrators and faculty, Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum congratulated the institutions and lauded the ongoing development of higher education in Uzbekistan and efforts to internationalize universities through collaboration with U.S. counterparts.
During the workshop, participants provided an overview of their U.S. partnership projects. Moreover, US experts shared case studies of the US-Kazakhstan partnerships programs and best practices in ensuring good communications and partnerships grants reporting, as well as curriculum development and international funding resources.
