Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 17, 2020 №389 “On measures to establish a branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent.”
According to the decision, a branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology, which provides non-governmental educational services, was established in Tashkent.
Educational activities at the Tashkent branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology will begin in the 2020/2021 academic year.
The branch is a non-governmental higher education organization, whose main tasks are to expand the commercialization of research results, attract investment for the implementation of innovative ideas of students, and others.
Graduates of the branch are awarded a university diploma, which is recognized as a document of higher education in Uzbekistan.
For information, the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Turkey in February 2020 and the establishment of a branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent.
